Pastor Selena Moore
Bio
Pastor Selena M. Moore (Overseer) - raised in Cleveland, Ohio has a Bachelors of Science in Religion with Minor in Biblical Studies, a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management, and Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling, cognate in Executive Leadership and Management from Liberty University. She completed Prison Fellowship Ministry training and received Mentorship Certification in 2012. She has attended Christ United Theological Seminary under the tutelage of Bishop Jesse Delano Ellis II. Lady Moore has been in healthcare for over 27 years and is currently employed with the Department of Veterans Affairs at the Cleveland Louis Stokes VA Medical Center. She serves as the Chief of Health Information Management Services.
Selena was reared in the Pentecostal Church of Christ and currently serves under the spiritual leadership of Bishop J. Delano Ellis, II and Dr. Sabrina J. Ellis. She is married to Bishop Robert G. Moore Jr., Pastor of New Vision New Day Church. She credits a great deal of her spiritual growth and personal development to Pastor Moore’s revelatory teaching, dynamic preaching, and exemplary leadership. She appreciates him not only as provider, father, and loving companion but also views him as a great spiritual leader in this present day. She is the proud mother of two natural children Tiarra and Melvin Jr., and is also mom to Latasha, Robert III and Tiwan.
Selena assist’s her husband administratively as Co-Pastor. During her tenure she has established “Woman Thou Art Highly Favored” Women’s Ministry, “Covered by the Blood” Annual Women’s Conference, and implemented the “Meet the Need Program” that has sponsored many families with food; appliances, and clothing. In 2011 she started a quarterly newsletter called “Envision.” It is her purpose to reach and empower young women who share some of the same struggles she has experienced, and with the Grace of God been able to overcome. She practices this through teaching and mentoring relationships. She often states “We are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, not made by man, but an authentic design crafted by God with a purpose.” Her living scripture is Psalm 34.
